Rossocinabro è lieta di annunciare, in occasione della XXI Giornata del Contemporaneo promossa da AMACI, l'apertura in contemporanea a Roma e a Firenze della mostra La Variante Immobile. L'esposizione, che si aprirà al pubblico ad ottobre, invita a una riflessione sul paradosso che lega la nostra inerzia alle inarrestabili trasformazioni del mondo, la strana relazione tra inazione e cambiamento.
La mostra presenta una varietà di opere di artisti provenienti da tutto il Mondo che utilizzano tecniche tradizionali e contemporanee per creare arte, sottolineando l'unicità e il valore dell'ingegno e della creatività umana nell'era digitale e artificiale.
Una mostra non come semplice denuncia dell'apatia, ma un'indagine su come la nostra passività influenzi attivamente il futuro. Le opere esposte rivelano come l'inerzia non sia mai un vuoto, ma una forza che modella gli eventi, a volte accelerandoli in direzioni impreviste e, altre volte, rallentandoli. L'arte diventa lo specchio di questa dinamica: una scultura che si corrode lentamente, una serie fotografica che documenta il decadimento di luoghi abbandonati, un'installazione sonora che amplifica il rumore del silenzio, o una fotografia che rappresenta l’inazione come una delle tante minacce insite nell’umanità.
Questa mostra ci invita a riflettere su un quesito fondamentale: se il mondo cambia "malgrado tutto", qual è il nostro ruolo? Siamo osservatori passivi o partecipanti inconsapevoli?
Ogni opera è un viaggio personale che trascende il mero risultato visivo, un'emozione tangibile che riflette esperienze, relazioni e pensieri tradotti in forma.
Inazione e Cambiamento è un monito a non dimenticare il potere unico dell'arte di emozionare e ispirare, e un invito a riflettere sul nostro ruolo in un mondo che cambia malgrado tutto.
A Firenze nella mostra Overdose, l'artista Sari Fishman espone in una sala dedicata, dieci opere in cui le tele, stropicciate e deformate, diventano un "corpo vivo". Utilizzando materiali come catrame, silicone e pigmenti, Fishman crea un linguaggio materico che esplora la tensione tra controllo e abbandono. La stropicciatura non è un errore, ma un gesto intenzionale che celebra l'imperfezione e l'eccesso come condizioni dell'esistenza. Le opere abitano lo spazio del "non-finito", trasformando la debolezza in forza e la ferita in un segno di vita. Overdose si presenta come un viaggio poetico e una confessione, invitando lo spettatore a riflettere sul fragile confine tra disgregazione e rinascita.

is pleased to announce the simultaneous opening in Rome and Florence
of the exhibition The
Unmoving Variable, held on
the occasion of the XXI Contemporary Art Day promoted by AMACI.
Opening to the public this October, the exhibition invites a
reflection on the paradox that links our inertia to the unstoppable
transformations of the world—the strange relationship between
Inaction and Change.
Inaction and Change feature a variety of works by international artists who use both traditional and contemporary techniques to create art, highlighting the unique value of human ingenuity and creativity.
More than a simple critique of apathy, this exhibition is an investigation into how our passivity actively influences the future. The works reveal that inertia is never an empty space but a force that shapes events, sometimes accelerating them in unpredictable directions and at other times slowing them down. Art becomes a mirror of this dynamic: a slowly corroding sculpture, a photographic series documenting the decay of abandoned places, a sound installation amplifying the noise of silence, or a photograph representing inaction as one of the many threats inherent in humanity.
The exhibition invites us to reflect on a fundamental question: if the world changes "despite everything," what is our role? Are we passive observers or unconscious participants?
Each artwork is a personal journey that transcends the mere visual result—a tangible emotion that reflects experiences, relationships, and thoughts translated into form. "Inaction and Change" is a reminder not to forget art's unique power to move and inspire us, and an invitation to reflect on our role in a world that changes regardless of our actions. In Florence, a dedicated room will feature works by the artist Sari Fishman. The full list of participating artists is available on the Rossocinabro website.
